Abigail Howe is a teacher, technology integrator, speaker, instructional

coach, digital storyteller, artist and change agent. She is an

instructional coach for the Shawnee Mission School District in Overland

Park, KS.  For the last three years, she has taught elementary teachers how to

integrate technology.  Before instructional coaching, Abby taught

K-8th-grade art, specializing in creating robust learning experiences

through cross-curricular connections and utilizing technology to

differentiate instruction.  Her mission is for all students to achieve

high levels of learning.  Abby earned her M.F.A from the New York Academy

of Art and additional teaching certification coursework from Baker

University.   She currently leads professional development workshops,

teaching educators how to use technology effectively in the classroom to

increase student engagement, providing tools and resources for

differentiation, natural ways to utilize technology to check for

understanding, and helping teachers align tech integrated lessons to their

content standards.
